Step-by-Step Process to Use UPI Without Internet

*Step 1: Dial 99#

Open the dialer on your mobile phone.

Dial *99# from your registered mobile number (linked to your bank account).

Wait for a few seconds until a menu appears.

Step 2: Choose a Transaction Type

Once the menu appears, you will see options like:

1. Send Money

2. Request Money

3. Check Balance

4. My Profile

5. Pending Requests

6. Transactions

7. UPI PIN

Enter the corresponding number for the action you want to perform and press Send.

Step 3: Sending Money

Select Option 1: Send Money.

Choose how you want to send money:

Mobile Number (linked to UPI)

UPI ID

Bank Account + IFSC

Enter the recipient’s details and press Send.

Step 4: Enter Amount & UPI PIN

Enter the amount you want to send.

Input your UPI PIN to confirm the transaction.

Press Send to complete the payment.

Step 5: Transaction Confirmation

You will receive a confirmation message on the screen.

Additionally, you may receive an SMS from your bank confirming the transaction.

Check Account Balance → Select Option 3 and enter UPI PIN.

Request Money → Select Option 2, enter the mobile number of the person, and the amount.

Change UPI PIN → Select Option 7 and follow the instructions.

Works on both smartphones and feature phones.

No need for an internet connection, only a mobile network signal.

Small transaction fee may apply (usually ₹0.50 per transaction).

Daily transaction limit: ₹5,000.
